Marine and cargo surveys for the insurance industry and the full transport chain — instructed by P&I clubs, underwriters, shippers, carriers and cargo interests across Scandinavia and internationally.
About
K&K Marine & Cargo Survey is the trading name of Kocken & Kaptenen AB — an independent surveying company established in Stockholm in 2020, operated by a Master Mariner with approximately 23 years of experience across yachting, RoRo, RoPax, passenger vessels, road ferries, tugs, wooden ships, marine construction and sail ships.
Shore-based work has focused primarily on cargo damage and insurance surveys — including road traffic accidents, overturned HGVs, train derailments and maritime casualties. This includes root cause investigation, loss mitigation and the arrangement of salvage sales on behalf of underwriters and cargo interests.
We are instructed by insurance companies, P&I clubs, underwriters, shippers, carriers, freight forwarders and consignees across Scandinavia and internationally. Our reports are thorough, objective and written to be of practical use to the parties who rely on them.
